If you've been following along with the previous emails, by now you're pre-approved for a mortgage and it's time to start the home search! This is the MOST exciting part (for me at least - lol) where we get to see homes that meet your criteria and find the one that feels like home.
As we begin the search, here are a few things to keep in mind:
Be open-minded: While it's important to have a list of must-haves, it's also important to be open-minded. You may find a property that on the surface, doesn't check all your boxes. If you have any concerns about a home you think you'd love send me your questions! I am also a professional interior designer with over a decade of experience in residential remodeling. I can tell you which walls you can knock down to open the space up and how to get your wish list items into a reality.
Take notes: After viewing multiple properties, it's easy to forget the details. Take notes on what you like and don't like about each property. I created a great guide for taking notes! Here is a link to our 2023 Buyer's Guide!
Ask questions: Don't be afraid to ask questions. As your agent, I'm here to help you make an informed decision.
