What can you expect during your Home Tours?

The home showing process with Designer Real Estate Group is an important part of buying a new home. It typically involves several steps that allow prospective buyers to view a property and get a feel for its layout, amenities, and overall condition. Here's a brief overview of what you can expect during a typical home showing:

  1. Contact a real estate agent: If you're in the market for a new home, the first step is to contact your licensed real estate agent with Designer Real Estate Group. We can help you narrow down your search based on your preferences and budget, and can provide you with access to listings and other resources that may not be available to the general public. If you find a home online that you'd like to tour let your agent know and they'll be able to set up the showing for you.
(Don't have an agent yet? You can call or text us at 503-479-4873)

  2. Schedule a showing: Once you've identified a property or several properties that you're interested in, your agent will help you schedule a showing. Your agent will coordinate with the listing agent or the homeowner to find a mutually convenient time and date.

  3. Arrive at the property: On the day of the showing, you'll typically meet your agent at the property but sometimes you'll meet with a showing agent. They'll have a lockbox or other access method to let you into the home.

  4. Tour the property: Once you're inside the home, you'll be given a tour of the property. This'll include a walk-through of each room, as well as an overview of the property's features and amenities. You'll also have a chance to ask questions and get more information about the home and its history.

  5. Evaluate the property: As you're touring the property, you'll want to evaluate it based on your own preferences and needs. Take note of any potential issues or areas that may require repairs or renovations, as well as any features that you particularly like or dislike. Your real estate agent is here to help! If you have any specific questions about the home don't be afraid to ask.

  6. Follow up: At the end of your showing, your agent will review the property with you to see if you have any further questions or concerns about the property. If you're interested in making an offer, they can help you navigate the next steps in the buying process.

Overall, the Designer Real Estate Group home showing process is designed to help you get a better sense of a property and decide if it's the right fit for you. By working with a licensed real estate agent and being prepared to ask questions and evaluate the property carefully, you can make an informed decision about which home is best for your needs and budget.
